About

I've spent the last 6 years bringing Rust to embedded systems — from tiny Cortex-M0 microcontrollers to more powerful ARM processors running safety-critical automotive firmware. I'm a contributor to the embedded-hal project and maintain several board support crates.

Embedded Rust is a different world from application Rust, and I love helping developers navigate it. We'll cover no_std development, working with hardware registers, interrupt handling with RTIC, writing drivers for sensors and actuators, and understanding the embedded Rust toolchain.

Whether you're a firmware engineer curious about Rust or a Rust developer wanting to explore embedded, I can help you get productive fast. I have real hardware we can develop against during sessions, or we can work with emulators and your own boards.

James helped me get my STM32 project off the ground in Rust. His embedded-hal explanations are unmatched.

Finally understanding RTIC after struggling for weeks. James is incredibly patient with embedded newcomers.
